These Race Series are open to Members and invited guests. An Off Soundings Club Member may obtain Guest Invitation Applications from the Race Secretary. The application requires signatures of a Sponsor and one Seconder and must be completed and returned to the Race Secretary prior to 14 days prior to the entry closing date. The guest invitations are reviewed and race invitation packages are mailed, to those approved, seven days prior to the entry closing date. An approved Guest Invitation for the Spring Race Series includes the Fall Race Series.
Prospective guests should note that the one-week interval between the mailing of the race packages and the entry Closing Date is seldom enough time to have the guest's yacht measured and the Measurement Data Certificate sent to the Off Soundings Club Chief Measurer (also required by the Closing Date). Prospective guests are urged to begin the measurement process well in advance, in anticipation of approval of the Guest Invitation.
